Dear Diary,

Today, I learned about a very important topic: the 17 Sustainable Goals! These are goals created by the United Nations to make our world a better place by 2030. I will be writing about them in English to practice my language skills.

What are the 17 Sustainable Goals?

The 17 Sustainable Goals are designed to help us end poverty, protect the planet, and ensure prosperity for everyone. They will be focusing on various areas, such as:

  • No Poverty

  • Zero Hunger

  • Good Health and Well-Being

  • Quality Education

  • Gender Equality

  • Clean Water and Sanitation

  • Affordable and Clean Energy

  • Decent Work and Economic Growth

  • Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure

Future Continuous

In our lessons, we will be using the future continuous tense to talk about what we will be doing to achieve these goals. For example:

  • In the future, people will be working together to end hunger.

  • Schools will be teaching students about the importance of clean water.

Why are these goals important?

These goals are important because they will be improving our lives and the world around us. Each one focuses on a different problem that we need to solve. If everyone works together, we can make a big difference!
